Bonny Vocational Centre hereby invites applications for admission to the underlisted programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session: programs:

- Catering and Hospitality
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Fabrication and Welding

- Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning
In each category, studies lead to the award of either the Diploma of the City & Guilds of London Institute, or the Advanced National Technical Certificate of the National Business and Technical Examination Board (NABTEB) as applicable.
Method of Application
Applicants are to log-on to www.bvcbonny.edu.ng/enrol from Monday 21/07/2025 to complete online application form. Candidates will be required to upload copy of a recent passport photograph. Submission of application will end on Sunday 10/08/2024.
Selection Criteria
All applicants would be required to sit a paper-based selection test in General Mathematics and English Language at BVC, Bonny. Only applicants who passed the selection test and meet the requirements of BVC would be considered for admission.

This course covers the essentials of business administration, from event support to project management, enabling the learner to provide administrative support in a range of environments. Included in this course are principles of managing information and producing documents in a business environment, principles of contributing to innovation and change, and principles of customer service delivery. On completion, certificate awarded is the Level 3 Diploma in Business Support.
This course covers transferable as well as job role specific skills, set out by employers, offering a holistic approach to training learners to be work ready for the hospitality industry globally. Included in this course is the Food Safety in Catering to help learners meet the minimum requirements to work within a food environment. On completion, certificates awarded are the Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Culinary Arts and Supervision, or Catering Craft Practice (Advanced).
This course covers the knowledge and skills for electrical and electronic engineering technologies and principles. Included in this course are mechatronics systems principles and fault-finding, computer automated and robotic systems principles and control, and electronic power control principles and practice. On completion, certificates awarded are the Level 3 Diploma in Engineering – Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or Electrical Installation and Maintenance (Advanced).
This course covers the knowledge and skills for fabrication and welding engineering technologies and principles. Included in this course are MIG welding of materials, TIG welding of materials, and Flux-cored arc welding materials. On completion, certificates awarded are the Level 3 Diploma in Engineering – Fabrication and Welding, or Fabrication and Welding (Advanced).
This course was developed to keep pace with the fast changing information technology sector and for learners who want to install, maintain, develop and support ICT systems. Included in this course are install and configure ICT equipment and operating systems, Install, configure and maintain software, and Install, configure and upgrade ICT software. On completion, certificate awarded is the Level 3 Advanced Diploma in IT Systems Support.
This course covers the knowledge and skills for equipment and plant maintenance related technologies and principles. Included in this course are maintenance of plant services, maintenance of hydraulic systems, and power generation systems and ancillary equipment. On completion, certificates awarded are the Level 3 Diploma in Engineering – Maintenance, Installation and Commissioning, or Mechanical Engineering Craft Practice (Advanced).
This course covers the knowledge and skills for refrigeration and air-conditioning technologies and principles. Included in this course are installing and commissioning of air conditioning and heat pump systems, understanding and carrying out site preparation and pipework fabrication techniques for RAC systems, and installing, testing and maintaining refrigeration systems. On completion, certificate awarded is the Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Works (Advanced).
